I was a loyal customer for about a year but decided not to give them my business anymore when I realized how bad management was. Not only is the location full of trashy people but the customer service is terrible as well. The food is not fresh either! I would never buy meat from them. Go to trader joes! It's so much cheaper, way better service and great food! I will never step foot in albertsons again!

Whoa! Bart wasn't kidding. This place is nothing compared to Publix. The prices are ridiculous and the layout of the store is sort of annoying. The cashier seemed nice enough and I was happy to find almond milk in stock, but this is far from my favorite place to buy groceries.

One of the worse supermarkets in the world , bad prices and bad service. you are better of shopping at Publix.

I used to shop the Albertsons in Oviedo before it closed. Then the Albertsons in Winter Park. I still make the trip to Altamonte to shop that Albertsons - but it's a bit of a haul, so not as often. Albertsons is easily the best all-round supermarket in Central Florida. Their quality is as good as any and their prices are better than most. I sure don't understand why Publix is a "leader" and Albertsons is not - the quality of each is about the same - but Publix is a lot more expensive. Aldis is generally cheaper, but the selection is more limited and the quality of most items is lower. Walmart is probably on par in terms of quality, and pretty close in price. (I notice none of the Walmart price comparison ads mention Albertsons - probably because Walmart wouldn't win.) But Walmart doesn't have employees as knowledgeable about groceries, so if you ever have a question - good luck! And if you're buying anything listed in Albertson's weekly mailer -well, let's just say that Walmart doesn't want to honor "competitor's prices" that are that low. Seriously, last time I was buying ice cream on sale at Walmart using the Albertsons "advertised price" they told me they weren't going to accept Albertsons prices anymore! Why would they do that, unless they considered the discount (more than 35%!) too much? In summary: Aldis: Cheapest, but quality is lower Publix: Most expensive, but no advantage in quality Walmart: Good prices and quality, but robo-staffing Albertsons: Good prices, Excellent Quality, Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff.

I grew up shopping at Albertsons and was deeply saddened when they closed a majority of their stores in Florida. It's great to see that there is still one open in Central Florida. I love their old style aisles and fresh selection of meats and seafood. The buys here are unbelievable.

If you shop their sale ad, you can get some great deals. The ethnic sections offer more choices than Publix, good meat department and fish counter. Again, shopping the sales and weekend deals. Staff is nice. Well stocked up on various items and sales extend to the wine and liquor department so check them out.

I had grown up on around this location, before Albertson's it was known as Skagg's Grocery. Anyways. Went by today- been reading other Yelpers and It is still open, Pretty packed in fact, around 4pm today. My mom "ran" in and the closing date is "when closing date is". he he Just thought I would Share. PS Am I the only one who remembers Skagg's Grocery here and the Piggly Wiggly's on Lee Rd, Close to the I-4, by where Skeeter's used to be? he he In store sales are crazy good- so GO while you can!

Am I the only one who cares more about finding good prices than whether or not the cashier smiles at me? If I was a cashier I would hate all my customers. Obviously don't fall for the "buy one get two free" like all the other idiots who go in. Look at the price, chicken for $9.99/lb, and it's pre-seasoned because it's going bad... Look right next to you and often they have boneless skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.99/lb instead. Be smart and you can find GREAT deals here!
